Outstanding product if you use reading glasses Jul 30, 2009

I wear glasses when working on a computer or reading a book, but not otherwise. I was always buying new glasses holders because they all used the same fragile little plastic loops to go around the earpieces of my glasses. Sometime these loops would break at my 1st attempt to adjust them. Cablz is the only eyeglass holder I have found that uses a better technology to hold the ends of the earpieces. You stick the ends of the earpieces into the cone-shaped rubber ends of the holder and they stay put for a long time. If the rubber gets slippery from skin oil or other substances, you can still make it grip your glasses by winding a small amount of plain cellophane tape around each end of the glasses before reinserting it into the cone. I've had 2 of these for nearly 2 years and they are still going strong. The strong cable is nice because it doesn't catch on clothes, but it does still catch on long hair sometimes (at least it does on mine). To me the best feature of these is the sturdy and trouble-free attachment to the glasses.

These Cablz 12" Eyewear Holders are SUPERB Mar 16, 2010

I purchased these Cablz for my sunglasses over a year ago. They are the best holders I've ever seen. They don't slip and they are clean and stay off my neck when I'm wearing them. When I don't need them, I just let them hang from my neck and they are comfortable and very lightweight. I keep them stored in the console of my car and whenever I need them, I just reach down and pull them up by the wire and put them around my neck. They exceptionally well made of coated surgical steel. Once you install them on the templets of the glasses, they are on there for keeps, so don't plan on trying to use them for more than one pair of glasses. After messing around with the cloth holders that got sweaty and raggy and lost their grip, this was a welcome purchase. I would recommend these for anyone.

Great Product! Oct 08, 2008
By B. Raymond I love my pair of Cablz. I have a pair of Maui Jims and no other "eyewear retention systems" would fit. They're very sturdy and lightweight. They don't stick to the back of your neck and grip my glasses like a dream. I would definitely recommend these if you're looking for something other than the standard cloth/foam stick-to-your-neck competition.
Good Deal Jan 31, 2011
By Keith Scoggins If you like expensive sunglasses these are a livesaver I have two the 12 and the 14 the 14 are better for my big head.
doesn't fit all eyewear Dec 30, 2010
By Berta Buyers should be aware that these don't fit all glasses. My husband's glasses's temples are too small to hold these on. Even with the advice of applying hand santitizer to make them stick, they slipped right off immediately. That said, I could see how this would be nice for someone who only wears glasses when they're active (standing) when something laying on their neck is "bothersome". (I ended up using these on my reading glasses which they did fit.) But this same feature means that if you sit down to read and your head rests on the back of the chair (like a Lazyboy) , your glasses are pushed off your nose. So they are NOT good for leisure reading. Knowing this , I would never buy again, plus the price (and S+H) is plenty for something that (I found later)could be purchased from a sporting goods store for less than 1/2 and works better for my purposes.
